To Detox or Not to Detox?

detox 2016One of the most common complaints I see in my office is for gastrointestinal disorders.

Unfortunately, I tend to see these patients as the last resort. They have been to numerous doctors without relief and end up suffering silently thinking that the symptoms that they are experiencing are “just normal”. Moreover, many patients are hesitant to discuss their bowel symptoms with me out of fear of expensive diagnostic and invasive testing recommendations. But this is rarely the case. With most patients I have found that starting with a conservative detoxification program is the first step to elimination of many of their symptoms and diseases that are seemingly unrelated to the GI tract. Ingesting 30 to 50 tons of food in a lifetime has its consequences especially consuming foods typically found in the Modern Urban Diet. Some patients have varying degrees of toxic burden and to randomly assign yourself to a detoxification program off of the shelf may do more harm than good.

Detoxification is not for everyone. So, with your permission, I would like to share with you one of the first steps that I engage the patient in to see if they are a candidate for detoxification. All you have to do is enter in your name and e-mail below and I will not only e-mail a specific questionnaire to help you determine if you are a candidate for detoxification, but I will also send you the four steps in how to detox properly and what detox program would be the best for you.
